BIOGRAPHY

Mackenzie Biadasz was born and raised in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, where she found early comfort in art and carried a sketchbook everywhere she went. She is part of the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point class of 2025, earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts with a minor in Art History. Her work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions, and her public sculptures are permanently installed throughout her hometown. From childhood to her formal training, art has been her way of making sense of the world and the people in it.

Mackenzie’s work derives from a desire to understand people, including herself, those closest to her, and the systems that quietly shape behavior, belief, and identity. She examines experiences of being unseen, misunderstood, or emotionally unsupported, and considers how families, institutions, and society respond to vulnerability. Through painting, sculpture, and public installation, she engages both intimate and communal spaces, inviting viewers to slow down, reflect, and participate in a shared exploration of memory, care, and emotional truth.
