Artistic Lighting Project, Stevens Point, WI

This project began in 2021 when Mayor Mike Wiza designed the first light post figure for the River Cities Mayor’s Art Challenge. I joined the team shortly after, and since then, several light post figures have been installed throughout the city.

 

This project aims to celebrates the unique talents and passions of our community, paying homage to the people who make Stevens Point special. Growing up here, I was always amazed by the creativity and skills of those around me. It’s an honor to highlight these talents, and I hope these light post figures bring a sense of belonging and joy to everyone who sees them.
