You Are What You Pay Attention To

This work considers how attention, or its absence, shapes perception, priorities, and societal awareness. The work reflects on how people that are preoccupied with distraction, often overlook what is important. Through the lens of media consumption, escapism, and selective focus, it interrogates how negligence and inattentiveness perpetuate harm, and how the things we choose to notice, or ignore, construct our understanding of the world and influence the lives of future generations.
